The Lodge was formed by eighteen Brethren who had a common
interest in the sport of Golf.
The Lodge name was chosen as being synonymous with St
Andrew, the world famous home of golf in Scotland.
The qualification for entry into the Lodge is to be a
subscribing playing member of a golf club.
The Lodge was Consecrated on 16 June 1980, by the
Provincial Grand Master, and the first Master was W Bro H.H. Judge John Rutter.
The Lodge Banner incorporating the Lodge Crest was
dedicated by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, V.W Bro Geoffrey M. Ashe,
T.D., at the Installation Ceremony on 3 December 1988.
