The Chapter was consecrated on Wednesday 14th March 2001 by Ex. Comp John Taylor, M E Grand Superintendent with Ex. Comp. Philip T Humphries, Second Provincial Grand Principal, acting as ‘H’ and Ex. Comp. Alvern M M Hart, Third Provincial Grand Principal, acting as ‘J’. Ex. Comp. Michael J Hoare, Deputy Grand Superintendent, acted as the Installing First Principal. The ME Grand Superintendent was supported by Ex. Comp. Colin Howell, Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies. It was resolved that a Royal Arch Chapter should be attached to the Hafan Deg Lodge. The Founders agreed that the aims and objectives of the Chapter would be to assist those very experienced qualified Companions, who either due to personal our other circumstances, have been unable to progress to the Principals Chairs. These Companions are given an opportunity, if they wish, to take higher office, and will be assisted where and when necessary, to make their progression as easy as possible.
The Chapter meets during daylight hours, thus also providing an opportunity to those
companions, who due to health or
other personal reasons are unable to attend their Chapters in the evening. |
